Don Truex opens 1 Peter 1 to show that the Bible is the bridge God built between a finite people and an infinite God. He walks through three truths about Scripture, that God's word has life and cannot be destroyed, that God's word gives life through the new birth and points us to Jesus, and that God's word transforms life as we put away sin and grow into salvation. He closes with the reminder that owning a Bible is not the same as obeying it, and with the call to repent and be baptized.
