Bible classes are simple: people open Scripture, a teacher guides the study, and everyone is encouraged to examine what is taught (Acts 17:11). Classes are separate from worship.
Nobody Is Keeping Score
Christians are commanded to assemble and encourage one another (Hebrews 10:24–25), while Bible classes are a practical way to teach and build up the church (Ephesians 4:11–16). Visit a class when you are ready.
You Will Not Be Put on the Spot
Listen quietly or ask questions. Scripture commends honest inquiry: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find” (Matthew 7:7). Teachers are there to help, following the example of those who explained “the way of God more accurately” (Acts 18:26).
What Class Looks Like
A teacher leads a verse-by-verse or topical study while everyone follows in the Bible. Questions are welcome, and every teaching should be tested by Scripture, like the Bereans who examined the Scriptures daily (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21).
Your Kids Have a Place Too
The Temple Terrace church of Christ offers age-appropriate classes so children can know the Scriptures “from childhood” and grow wise for salvation through faith in Christ (2 Timothy 3:15). Parents may sit with their children.
When Classes Happen
The Temple Terrace church of Christ offers Sunday and Wednesday classes for all ages from 1-year-olds to adults; check the local schedule before visiting.
Whenever You’re Ready
At the Temple Terrace church of Christ, you can study with people seeking to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord” (2 Peter 3:18).
